C. elegans and other research training 2011 (1) Dr. Ashwini Godbole, a post-doctoral fellow at FRLHT, Bangalore in the use of C. elegans as a model. (2) Ravikumar Shinde, a Ph.D. student with , SRTM University, Nanded in the use of C. elegans as a model (3) UGC sponsored Teacher-training workshop on simple C. elegans techniques, Sophia College, Mumbai. 2010 (1) Trained Jeena Augustine, a Ph.D. student with Dr. Sarita Bhat, Chochin University of Science and Technology in the use of the C. elegans model (2) Trained Robert Sonowal, a Ph.D. student from Dr. Mahadevan’s lab, IISc in the use of the C. elegans model and aided in completion of relevant experiments. (3) Trained Spriha Gupta, Ph.D. student, Dr. Rakesh Pandey lab, CIMAP Lucknow in specific protocols using C. elegans 2009 (2) Trained Khushboo Jetha , JRF from Dr. Bhaskar’s lab IIT-Chennai in the use of laser ablation for their experiments on flower development. (3) Trained Sonu Kumar, a Ph.D. student from Dr. Deshmukh‘s lab, CCMB in the use of the C. elegans model and a few relevant molecular techniques for their research using worms. (4) Trained Akhilandeshwaree Prakash, a Masters students from the laboratory of Dr. S. Shanmugasundaram, Madurai Kamraj University in the use of the C. elegans model. (5) Trained Nirupama Kumari, Post-doctoral fellow from Universty of Patna in Molecular Techniques. (2) Trained a Masters students from the laboratory of Dr. S. Shanmugasundaram, Madurai Kamraj University in the use of the C. elegans model.
