Talks Abstract:

The Next Generation Genomics Facility (NGGF) at the Bangalore Life Science Cluster (BLiSC) is providing genomics services to scientists, train researchers and also working on national and international genome sequencing projects. NGGF has helped scientists across the campus and India to sequence genomes from a range of organisms. At our facility, we are performing services such as Sanger Sequencing, Transcriptome, Exome, Whole Genome DNA sequencing, Degradome sequencing, small RNA, amplicon-seq, ChIP seq, ATAC sequencing, ddRAD and 16s metagenomics using Illumina sequencing platform HiSeq 2500 and Miseq. We also provide Single Cell Genomics services using 10X Genomics single cell platform. Besides these services, Facility has been actively involved in the SARS-CoV-2 whole genome sequencing and sequenced around 10,000 samples in last one and half years for INSACOG and ROCKEFELLER-NCBS projects. This has helped the state govt. in COVID genome surveillance, an important aspect in managing COVID situation in Bangalore.  NGGF aims to provide reliable sequencing data with better quality, rapid turnaround time, cost effectively and assist researchers in achieving their sequencing related research goals.
