- A lady named Ms.Yuri from National Institute of Genetics, Japan visited Dolna on 03rd Feb 2016 and took back many ideas to be implemented back in her country. Kudos to our staff for their hard work and creativeness.
- Annual Parent's meeting is scheduled on 20 th FEB 2016. Kindly confirm your presence.
- The suggestions given by parents during the meeting have been considered by us and below are the few which we have implemented:
- A small reading corner has been set up for toddlers in the ground floor activity space. Kindly have a look at it.
- Sports schedule has been displayed at the reception of Dolna in both the floors.
- A separate notice board indicating the activities conducted for infants and older kids has been set up in the ground floor area [near the stairs]. Kindly have a look at it.
- An additional column has been added in the notice board which indicates the separate activities conducted for kids between 2 - 4 years and 4-6 years. Kindly have a look at it.
- We have streamlined the morning timings of care givers : 08:30 am = 1st care giver arrives , 09:00 am = 2 nd care giver arrives, 09:30 am = 3 rd care giver arrives and the rest of the staff and teachers reach before 10:00 am.
- Two care givers have been deployed to pick kids from school buses; when more than 2 kids arrive at the same time.
- Pani puri party on new year's eve received over whelming responses from kids and their parents.
- Teachers had an interactive session on 5 th January 2016 with Ms.Kajsa from Sweden who has a qualification in early childhood care and also runs a creche back in her country, We are happy to inform you all that Ms.kajsa was highly impressed by our art/craft activities and gave us a very good opinion regarding the functioning of our creche.
- Sankranthi celebrations are scheduled on 14 th January 2016.
- Dolna would be closed on 15 th January 2016 and 26 th January 2016 on account of sankranthi and Republic day, respectively.
- As part of Christmas vacations we have scheduled field trips for two places: i.Embassy international riding school on 29 th December 2015. ii. Gerry martin farm land on 02 nd January 2015. Further details kindly check mail. Please do confirm before 18 th December 2015.
- Dolna would be closed on 25th December 2015 on account of Christmas.
- Kindly send kids in full pants and toe covered shoes for Embassy riding school.
- Crib decoration was a huge fun for kids and Dolna staff.
- Bumble tumble kids carnival has been postponed by the organizers due to rainfall. Will reschedule it shortly.
- Cookie party happening at Fever 104 fm radio station on 18 th November 2015. For further details kindly check e-mail.
- Parents kindly collect Children's day gift with the respective teachers.
- Pest control is scheduled on 28 th Nov 2015 at Dolna - 2 . Dolna 2 working hours will be from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm on 28th Nov 2015 and 10:00 am to 06:30 pm on 30th Nov 2015, Monday.
- Drawing class will not be held on 05th December 2015 as kids will be on their field trip.
- Taekwondo instructors are participating in the Nationals at New Delhi and hence there will be no classes on 02 nd and 5 th December 2015.
- Music teacher is back and she'll engage kids in music classes from 03 rd December 2015.
- Kids had a good time at the Moth day on 1 st October 2015.Since the time slot given to us was between 02:30 pm to 03:30 pm; few of the older kids couldn't make it up,we do regret this.
- Dolna will have holidays on 2 nd and 22 nd October 2015, on account of Gandhi jayanthi and dussera respectively. Kindly check the holiday list.
- Snake season is back again. To create awareness among kids, we the Dolna team have organized a small talk by Mr.Tarun at first floor Dolna by 04:30 pm on 06 th October 2015 who'll be talking to kids about the precautions to be undertaken, first aid to be done after a snake bite and also the types of venomous snakes found around our campus.
- Pest control will be done on 17th October 2015, Saturday at Dolna 1, Ncbs campus. Creche working hours will be from 09:00 am to 1:00 pm. On a later on date it will be done in Dolna 2 Mandara campus.

- The Taekwondo instructor has been changed, the present instructor is Mr.Rohit
- Dolna will be functioning on 25th September 2015.
- Dolna will be closed on 26 th September 2015 on account of proposed Karnataka bandh.
- Sports tournament begins from 04 th August 2015 during sports hours. There are three age groups 3-5 years, 5-7 years, 7-9 years.
- The minimum age to place an application to make use of the creche facility is 6 months from henceforth, this decision was took by the committee after consulting and discussing with the pediatrician about the pros n cons of admitting an infant to the creche at an early age.
- Due to sports tournament happening in the evening hours, the classical dance classes have been paused till 15th August 2015.
- Kudos to all our kids, the cultural event turned out to be a hit.
- Classical music classes are paused till November 15, as the music teacher will be away.
- Dolna will be closed on Friday, 28 th August 2015.
- July in house Dolna activity schedule has been displayed at the reception of Dolna in Ncbs campus.
- On 11th July 2015 kids visited Planetarium as part of their field trip.
- Fumigation process will be done using doop, neem oil and eucalyptus oil on 18 th July 2015.
- There'll be no dance class [free style] on 17 th July 2015 Friday, this class will be arranged on some other day and it will be informed.
- Schools have re-opened. Parents please inform teachers the pick up time.
- As discussed in the meeting which was held in Feb 2015, our care givers will pick kids if they are dropped at either pond gate or Housing complex gate of Ncbs. Kindly oblige on this.
- The new committee members are Dr.Shannon, Dr.Akash, Mr.Chakrapani.
- We have a new volunteer Ms.Laura from Edinburgh, who'll be associated with us for the next few months. She'll be looking after the Dolna in-house activities along with the teachers. Please help her in getting adjusted to our Dolna community.
- For occasional users the rates have been revised. Please note the changes : 1 - 3 years = Rs.700/- each day and Above 3 years = Rs.500/- each day.
