Research Interest
I am a physicist interested in understanding the physical principles of chromatin organisation and dynamics at different scales and in different cell types. I received my PhD from IIT Bombay where I investigated nucleosome positioning and dynamics, and how it affects the accessibility of DNA. Later, I joined Institute Pasteur, Paris as a postdoc where I studied the changes in chromosome compaction in different conditions. I joined Madan’s lab as a RA and currently hold the DST Inspire faculty fellowship.
