National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) - Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), a premier research Centre is looking for appointment of TECHNICIANS (TURNER AND MACHINIST) on Contractual terms. The appointment will be initially for a period of One (1) year which may be extended upto maximum of three years depending on the performance of the candidates.
TECHNICIAN – TURNER:
Qualification & Experience: Candidates with SSC or Equivalent and ITI i.e National Trade Certificate in the Trade of Turner (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) OR National Apprenticeship certificate (NAC) (60% Marks) from a reputed institution, awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) with One(1) to Two(2) years experience as Turner in tool room or a maintenance department of any reputed organization.
TECHNICIAN – MACHINIST:
Qualification & Experience: Candidates with SSC or Equivalent and ITI i.e National Trade Certificate in the Trade of Machinist (60% marks) awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) OR National Apprenticeship certificate (NAC) (60% Marks) from a reputed institution, awarded by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) with One(1) to Two(2) years experience in any organization of repute as Machinist Miller in Tool Room work, with knowledge of Computer Aided Machining (CAM) and Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Machining.
Age for the above posts: Below 28 years as on 1.7.2015
Consolidated Salary for the above posts: Rs. 18,000/- to 20,000/- per month depending on the experience.
The selected candidates will be required to join immediately. In deserving cases salary will not be constraint for candidates with highly relevant experience.
