National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR) a premier research centre under the aegis of Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is looking for filling up of the following position on regular basis:
1) ACCOUNTS OFFICER 'C' – Unreserved - One (1) Post
Qualification and Experience:
Essential:
1) Graduate in Commerce with Advanced Accountancy,Auditing and Income-Tax as subjects with 60% marks.
2) Diploma in Finance and Accounts or in a related area.
3) Minimum 5 years experience in GP of Rs. 4200/4600/4800 or with equivalent TME (Total Monthly Emolument).
4) Knowledge of use of personal computers and applications.
Desirable:
1) M.Com or PG Diploma in Finance or CA /ICWA/ICA.
2) Experience in finalisation of Accounts upto the drawal of the balance sheet.
3) Scrutiny, Evaluation and Finalisation of the tender documents work bills and payment to contractors.
4) Experience in working in a Research/ Academic/ Government Institution would be an added advantage.
Pay Band & Grade Pay: PB-3-Grade Pay:Rs. 5400/- ( Likely to be revised as per TME: 60750/- recomendations of VII CPC)
Age limit: - 40 years

The above appointment shall be made with probation of one (1) year form the date of joining. The selected candidates shall be required to join immediately. The institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the recruitment process to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. The post is tenable at Bangalore but is liable to be transferred if the need arises to the Institute’s headquarters at Mumbai or any other field Stations.
