Course Outline:

The course will aim to enable students to (1) read primary literature in different formats, across various topics in biology (2) critique published work (3) review and synthesize literature on a specific subject. The course will include brief lectures, group discussions, and student presentations. During the course, students can expect to read about 5 papers a week. At the end of the course, students will write a substantial review paper on a subject of their choice.

Course Requirements: Open to 1st and 2nd year graduate students.
