On January 10th, we have Dr. Gururaja KV, a batrachologist, working as faculty at Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology and Adjunct Scientist at Gubbi Labs.
His talk is titled, "Let's croak and dance - why do frogs do what they do?"
Frogs are a part of ancient history and culture, and hence have been part of behavioural studies in science. Why do they croak in the night? What do they convey? And some of them dance too? We will explore all these from some common and some endemic frogs from the Western Ghats.
