THEORETICAL APPROACHES IN CELL BIOLOGY
PHYSICS OF ACTIVE, EVOLVING SYSTEMS

We, together with the group of Dr. K. Vijaykumar, ICTS-TIFR, hold weekly group meetings on Wednesday at 3.00 pm in Chloroplast (S-03). This alternates between research presentation and literature survey. The span is wide and includes nonequilibrium statistical physics, soft matter, biological physics, active matter, information theory, control theory, etc; indeed anything that catches our interest. In future, we hope to have speakers from outside our group - both visitors to our group and colleagues from the larger Bangalore Scientific Area.
