I have completed my dual degree bachelors and masters in BSMS program at IISER Tirupati, and I am currently working as a graduate trainee in the Root Microbiology Lab at National centre for biological sciences NCBS, Bangalore. During my masters dissertation project at NIPGR, New Delhi, I focused on investigating the molecular and functional characterisation of novel genes involved in phosphate starvation. Furthermore, I compared the responses of two prominent ecotypes of Arabidopsis thaliana under phosphate starvation to identify genes that modulate root plasticity. Building upon this experience, I am now eager to explore the mechanism by which plants abide with biotic stress, with specific focus on fungal interactions.
