I pursued a Master's degree in Plant Science at the Central University of Kerala, where I delved into plant molecular biology, sparking my enthusiasm for research. My doctoral studies took place at JNTBGRI, Kerala, focusing on "Identification and Profiling of miRNAs Regulating the Triterpenoid Biosynthetic Pathway in Centella asiatica (L.) Urb." Utilizing high-throughput sequencing-based small-RNA profiling, I conducted thorough research to unveil miRNA-mediated gene regulation in Centella asiatica.

Following this, I engaged in research on millets as a model to investigate stress resistance during my tenure as an IOE-postdoctoral fellow at the School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad. Presently, I am an N-PDF (SERB) conducting research in the root microbiology lab, exploring the role of extracellular vesicles as facilitators of intercellular signaling in root fungal pathogenesis (EXCEL-ROUTE).
