Research Interest
My interests lie in the physics of living systems and developmental biology. Before joining the graduate programme at NCBS, I finished my undergraduate and masters studies at the Indian Institute of Science, where I studied physics as my major and biology as my minor subjects. I am currently studying the role of cell autonomous control in local cell-level tasks, such as ordering and synchronisation of intracellular events, and global tissue-level tasks, such as morphogenetic decoding of positional information and sculpting of morphogen profiles.
