Research Interest
Prior to joining Madan’s group for PhD, I did my undergrad (Integrated BSc-MSc) in Physics from UM-DAE CBS in Mumbai. I am primarily interested in principles of optimization arising because of information processing in living systems. In particular, I have been looking at the process of glycosylation in the cell from the perspective of information theory and motivating the functional need for multiple cisternae in the Golgi complex.
