I have openings in my lab for volunteers/interns, students and post-docs interested in the following broad areas of work:

Evolutionary ecology
Mechanisms and function of behavioural and life history traits. Specific subjects include intraspecific brood parasitism; invertebrate antipredator strategies; mate choice and sexual selection; pollination and dispersal ecology; life histories and population dynamics.

Participatory ecology
Designing and implementing ecological research projects that are based on volunteer-contributed data. Current projects include one studying bird migration and another looking at tree phenology. If you have skills/interests in website coding, environmental education, content writing, or nature illustration, we would like to hear from you.

Please note that PhD positions are very limited in my lab. You must demonstrate exceptional talent and interest in evolution/ecology to be considered. Applicants to the PhD programme must pass NCBS entrance. I welcome enquiries from volunteers or those seeking internships. Before writing, please make sure your interests overlap with the general themes in the lab.

When writing with an enquiry, please describe your background and interests in ecology/evolution; the more detail you can provide the better.
