Ansil B R turns Dr. Ansil B R

Ansil successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled " Small mammal communities and emerging zoonotic pathogens in mixed-use landscapes.". He did extensive sampling of small mammals and their ectoparasites across different habitats in the Western Ghats. He investigated the prevalence of multiple pathogens in these small mammals. Specifically, studied the correlates of Bartonella (a zoonotic bacteria) prevalence in small mammal communities, which revealed the ectoparasites are main drivers of their prevalence.

All the best for all your future endeavors , Dr. Ansil !
