Research Interest
My educational background is varied – BSc in Physics, Maths and Electronics, MSc in Biodiversity Conservation and Management, and a PhD in Geography, understanding how elephants and people share space. I have been working on a range of applied conservation research projects over the years, with a particular interest in Human-Elephant Interactions and Lantana camara, an invasive plant. My current postdoctoral research aims to use genetic tools to help solve on ground conservation challenges, starting with better understanding the the functional role of elephant corridors.
