MSc
These graduate programmes in Biology will lead to Master of Science degrees (MSc) in Wildlife Biology and Conservation. The minimum eligibility criterion is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Integrated MSc-PhD (I-PhD)
This graduate programme in Biology will lead to a dual degree: Master of Science degree (MSc) in Biology and Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD). In TIFR-Mumbai, at the Department of Biological Sciences (DBS), this is the only I-PhD programme in SBB that has an explicit MSc exit option: this is a day scholar programme (with no housing provided).
The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to the I-PhD programme is a 3 or 4 year Bachelor’s degree in any basic science discipline OR a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in a professional discipline such as agriculture, engineering, veterinary science, or pharmacy.

PhD
This graduate programme in Biology will lead to a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biology.
The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to the PhD programme is a Masters degree in any basic science discipline OR a > 4 year professional degree programme (e.g. MBBS, BDS, B.Tech). Students holding an MSc degree in a non-Biology-allied discipline like Chemistry/Physics/Maths/Computer Sciences, who wish to obtain both an MSc in Biology as well as a PhD, will be offered the option of enrolling in the I-PhD programme at or before the time of joining.
