OutsideIn returns on October 11th

The next four talks have a common theme-Biodiversity

In this session, Dr. Anusha Shankar, a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Lab of Ornithology, Cornell University, will discuss 'From hornbills to hummingbirds: What watching wildlife can teach us about ourselves'.

From studying how hornbills choose their nest sites, to tracking king cobras in Agumbe, and collecting hummingbird pee in Ecuador, I love exploring how animals exist. Some animals are limited by the space available to them; others in how they use their time or their energy. I would like to share with you what I learned about myself from watching animals!

This series of talks is hosted by Dr. Uma Ramakrishnan and Prof. R. Sowdhamini of the National Centre for Biological Sciences.
