Facility-in-charge: Dr Pritha Dey

             Pritha is a moth-biologist. She completed her Ph.D. from the Wildlife Institute of India and Zoologische Staatssammlung Munich, Germany; and post doc from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and the Finnish Museum of Natural History, Helsinki, Finland. She is largely interested in the diversity, distribution, and evolutionary ecology of moths. Apart from science, she shares her experiences through popular articles and public outreach aiming to improve the state of moth research in India. Currently, she is also the Country Coordinator of National Moth Week, a global citizen science program. Apart from the role of the Facility-in-charge, she is also the curator for  Lepidoptera specimens in the Research Collections.
